We are huge HP fans at our house, and I love making fandom gifts for family and friends. My current project in the works is a HP themed quilt; this one will be full of potions bottles and books of all sorts. I created these book cover and book spine embroidery patterns to eventually be used on that quilt. You'll receive BOTH designs in this listing!
Both designs fit within a 5x7" (or larger) embroidery hoop, and both the book cover and book spine designs feature ornate, calligraphy-style scrollwork and delicate border patterns. According to canon, these are meant to be embroidered in purple, white, and gray/silver thread on black material, but you could definitely create these in any colors you choose! Stick with monotone black, gray and white for a Gothic/Victorian Halloween feel, or maybe try bright green for a voodoo themed spell book.
