My husband is a big fan of the show Supernatural, and is always quoting the characters. So, in his favorite show's honor, I created Michigan Hellfire Jam! Be warned: this jam is NOT for the faint of heart! (Don't be an idjit. Mind the Scoville rating!)
This chunky-style jam is fruity, and packed full of delicious Michigan cherries, and my own organically raised and hand-picked blackberries, raspberries, and black raspberries. It's also INCREDIBLY spicy; the abundance of diced habaneros will give your palate a roundhouse kick of heat! Jim Beam Honey bourbon whiskey**, with it's complex notes of caramel, oak, vanilla, and honey, give this jam a delicious finishing touch! This is the spicier big brother to Kentucky Bar Fight Jam! This spicy jam is amazing on toast or cornbread, on top of cheesecake, as a finishing glaze on roasted meats chicken and wings, or on cream cheese with crackers as a snack! Have you tried it on ice cream? You should!
Completely handmade in artisanal small batches, I start each jam with simple ingredients, such as real fruit and fresh peppers for amazing taste! Each glass jar is then carefully filled and waterbath-canned according to US national guidelines to sterilize the glass jar and ensure the jam remains shelf-stable until it's time to open and enjoy! Our amazing jam is guaranteed to bring on the heat! Each jar has a colorful lid-topping label, and an ingredient label on the back. (Jar patterning and ring color will vary slightly.)
Choose between a sampler jar (4 oz/118mL), or a half-pint jelly jar (8 oz/236mL) of our exciting Michigan themed jam. Each will be carefully wrapped and shipped to you to enjoy! These make a lovely addition to a meal shared with family and friends, or a thoughtful (and tasty!) birthday, housewarming, or wedding gift for any fan of spicy foods! (Please note: please place jelly jar in the refrigerator once opened to ensure freshness. Best if opened within 8 months, and enjoyed within 3 months of opening!)
