Ancient cultures and Edgar Allen Poe both held the mystical Raven in high regard. Indeed, these birds are far more intelligent than most people realize- perhaps that's why a certain author chose them as one of the House mascots for the Magic Wizard School. No matter why you love them, they're perfect to add to your favorite purse, bookbag, blanket, scarf, jacket, pillow, flag/banner, or anywhere!
These designs each fit within a 5x7" hoop, or within larger hoops on bigger embroidery machines. Finished design measures approx. 6" wide by 5" tall, depending on how close you trim past the outer stitching.
Because I can't make up my mind on if I'd rather use a fabric applique for the eye, or fill stitch, you will receive both designs, for one price! These patterns are designed for use with your favorite fabric or thinner weight vinyl on the head and beak, and with the option of either fill stitch or applique used for the eye, before finishing with a beautiful satin stitch around the edges! These designs are so detailed- check out the tiny feathers on the cere of the beak, and the fluffy texturing through the neck! These designs could be easily made into a white crow if you'd like! (any GOT fans out there?)
