I made my spicy Michigan Hellfire Jam and gave a jar to a friend of ours who likes spicy things. His reaction? "It's nice." Not "holy cow, my mouth is on FIRE!" or "Give me some milk NOW!!" I was a little disappointed, so I set out to give him something that he could truly appreciate the heat on! I kept my same delicious cherry-berry habanero jam recipe, but ADDED FIVE SUPERHOT PEPPERS to the recipe!

The result? My new Valyrian Dragonfire Jam! 

WARNING: this jam is NOT for the faint of heart! (This version blew the Scoville rating out of the water!)

This chunky-style jam is fruity, and packed full of delicious Michigan cherries, and my own organically raised and hand-picked blackberries, raspberries, and black raspberries. It's also UNBELIEVABLY spicy; in addition to the abundance of diced habaneros, this version gets a boost from Apocalypse AND Moruga Trinidad Scorpion peppers, Chiltepin peppers, and red Ghost peppers, all grown right in my garden! This jam will set your mouth ablaze in a maelstrom of heat! Jim Beam Honey bourbon whiskey**, with it's complex notes of caramel, oak, vanilla, and honey, give this jam a delicious finishing touch!

This is the much bigger, meaner brother to Kentucky Bar Fight Jam! This spicy jam is amazing on toast or cornbread, on top of cheesecake, as a finishing glaze on roasted meats chicken and wings, or on cream cheese with crackers as a snack! Have you tried it on ice cream? You should!

Completely handmade in artisanal small batches, I start each jam with simple ingredients, such as real fruit and fresh peppers for amazing taste! Each glass jar is then carefully filled and waterbath-canned according to US national guidelines to sterilize the glass jar and ensure the jam remains shelf-stable until it's time to open and enjoy! Our amazing jam is guaranteed to bring on the heat! Each jar has a colorful lid-topping label, and an ingredient label on the back. (Jar patterning and ring color will vary slightly.)

Choose between a sampler jar (4 oz/118mL), or a half-pint jelly jar (8 oz/236mL) of our exciting Michigan themed jam. Each will be carefully wrapped and shipped to you to enjoy! These make a lovely addition to a meal shared with family and friends, or a thoughtful (and tasty!) birthday, housewarming, or wedding gift for any fan of spicy foods! (Please note: please place jelly jar in the refrigerator once opened to ensure freshness. Best if opened within 8 months, and enjoyed within 3 months of opening!)
